Andrea Di Camillo
#Founder, CEO&Managing Partner
Andrea Di Camillo was born in Biella (Piedmont, important textile district at the time) in 1970. Di Camillo started his career at the Olivetti Group, working specifically at Italia Online first, and then directly with Elserino Piol (the Italian VC “patron”) and Oliver Novick, who oversaw the innovation area of the entire Olivetti Group. Di Camillo took part to the launch of the first Italian Venture Capital Fund, Kiwi 1: among other investments, he led the ones in Yoox, Venere, and Vitaminic (also co-founding the latter, which was the first Italian online music platform, and was then listed at the Italian Stock Exchange).
Di Camillo then worked in the Cir Group (led by De Bendetti) for one year, where he was in charge of the company’s technological investments. He went on sabbatical, travelling around the world. In 2004 he co-founded Banzai (listed at Milano Stock Exchange in 2015, now E-Price) with Paolo Ainio (formerly founder of Matrix Virgilio). He was Co-CEO of the company until 2010.
In years 2011 and 2012 Di Camillo took part to the workings of a task force at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, collaborating with Secretary Corrado Passera. This activity resulted in the Restart Italia report, which contains some of the current measures to support innovation, venture capital and new entrepreneurship in Italy.
In the same year, Di Camillo founded P101 SGR, a venture capital fund management company, which currently manages 3 funds, over 200 million Euros of assets, over 40 investments in some of the most successful Italian and non-Italian innovation companies, including Tannico, Cortilia, MusixMatch, Deporvillage, Milkman and Musement.
Among the goals of P101 is that of financially contributing to the creation of industrial companies that – having the proper resources and culture – can compete in a constantly changing landscape, also from a geographical perspective, thanks to their technology and human capital. Some of the companies that are, today, in P101’s portfolio, have a significant turnover (> 100M), considerable profitability, and employ several thousand people in Italy and Europe at a consolidated level.
Giuseppe Donvito

Giuseppe has been working in the Venture Capital and Private Equity industry for more than15 years.
He has gained experience both in Italy and Europe, working with companies such as 3i Group plc and HSBC Bank. He joined P101 in 2014, and he is currently Partner.
Giuseppe holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa and attended the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg Business School in Chicago (USA).
He began his career in Telecom Italia’s Strategy Division. In 2000 he joined SOFIPA SGR and then he moved to 3i Group plc as an Investment Manager. From 2006 to 2008 he served as Vice
President at HSBC Bank in London, where among other tasks, he managed principal investments and leveraged finance activities in the European and Middle Eastern markets.
After a work experience in the UK with Neo Capital Private Equity, at the end of 2009 Giuseppe moved to Italy and joined Futurimpresa SGR as a Managing Director. Over his career
he has been involved in several investments and divestments both in traditional and innovative sectors. As a Non-Executive Director, he has also contributed to value growth in
portfolio companies.
Glenda Grazioli

With 15 years of experience in the venture capital and private equity sector, Glenda has grown professionally at Pino Partecipazioni and worked with dPixel and Vela Capital, taking part in 8 divestments and two IPOs. Glenda joined P101 in 2013 and she is currently in charge of the whole administrative and compli - ance process, as well as investment processes. Born in Pavia in 1980, Glenda has become interested in Venture Capital while attending university and, in 2004, she joined Pino Partecipazioni, the investment advisor of Kiwi I and Kiwi II funds.
As a Senior Investment Officer she has managed several portfolio companies, taking part in 8 divestments and the IPOs of Elitel Telecom and Yoox. In 2008 she began working with dPixel, where she was involved in the creation of a Luxembourg SICAR and entered the Board of the Management Company. Four years later she extended her expertise to private equity investments, joining Vela Capital. She has a degree in Finance from the Bocconi University of Milan.
Stefano Guidotti

More than 10 years of experience in Italian and European Venture Capital, he co-founded U-Start and Milano Investment Partners, taking part in over 40 deals. In P101 since 2021 where he aims to strengthen the purpose-driven-tech.
Previously Stefano gained experience in sustainability and climate-tech, with strategic consulting and entrepreneurial angles (in renewable energy) in the US and Switzerland. From 2009 to 2012 he contributed to the creation and growth of the largest network of sustainable startup accelerators in Africa during his collaboration with ALTIS – Alta Scuola di Impresa e Società of the Catholic University, receiving international awards including an Ashoka Award. From 2012 to 2017 he was CEO of U-Start, a company he co-founded, which has positioned itself over the years as one of the main Venture Capital players in Southern Europe, capable of channelling investments from large family offices and HNWIs towards European tech companies of the calibre of Deliveroo, Secret Escapes, Sum Up, Wallapop, Airhelp and many others. Afterwards he has been for four years CEO of Milano Investment Partners SGR SpA, with which he launched and managed as Managing Partner the Fund MIP I, focused on investments in Consumer-Tech growth companies in Italy and Europe. He has made more than 40 investments in some of the most successful companies on the Italian and European tech scene.
Alessandro Tavecchio

10 years of experience in the venture capital industry, he began his career at Pino Partecipazioni, as an Investment Analyst. He then collaborated with Neon Club and participated in the launch of the investment vehicle Club Italia Investimenti 2. He joined P101 in 2013 and he is currently in charge of the deal flow, new investments and problem-solving. Alessandro was born in Milan in 1985. Having spent a formative period in Rotterdam and Prague, he graduated in Accounting, Financial Management and Control at the Bocconi University of Milan.
In 2009 he began working at Pino Partecipazioni as Investment Analyst, and he was in charge of the deal flow activity, the monitoring and business planning of the portfolio companies. He has been involved in some of Kiwi fund’s divestments and seed investments in companies such as Fubles and RisparmioSuper.
Between 2012 and 2013 he also worked with Neon Club, an advisor acting as an interface between a network of existing investors and the new tech initiatives, where he improved his know-how on managing the investments in startups, supporting the implementation of their business plan and the activity of fundraising. In 2013 he participated in the launch of Club Italia Investimenti 2, where he took care of the first 50 investments of the investment vehicle.
Mariano Ambrosio

Interested in Business Financing issues, he obtained a master degree in Business Management and later a master in Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital. He started his professional career in the industry at Principia SGR. He has worked as a consultant in the field of club dealing and family offices. He joined P101 in 2016 and he contributes to the portfolio management and monitoring activities.
Mariano was born in Naples in 1985. He obtained with honors a master degree in Business Management and a master in Entrepreneurship & VC at the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. In 2012 he began working with Principia SGR as Investment Analyst in charge of the deal ow activity, the monitoring and performance measurement of the portfolio companies. He has been involved in some of Principia II fund’s investments in companies such as 4W Marketplace and Sounday, in particular the acquisition of Kiver Digital. In 2015 he also worked
with G&C, where he improved his know-how on club dealing and family of ces management.
Francesco Zambelli

During his university career he developed a strong passion and interest in Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship having his first work experience in Pino Partecipazioni as Business Analyst and then co-founding a Start Up. He joined P101 in 2018 and he is in charge of new investments and contributes to the management of the companies in the portfolio.
Francesco was born in Como in 1991. He graduated at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, bachelor degree in Business Economics and Corporate Law while the master degree in Markets and Business Strategies with study experiences in Barcelona and Los Angeles. In 2014 he started working in Pino Partecipazioni, where he mainly focused with the monitoring of portfolio companies and on Litigation Funding. From 2016 until 2018 he worked in some Corporate Companies, inside the Finance and Management Control area, first in the Telco field (Vodafone and Fastweb) and then in the Luxury field (l’Oreal Luxe). Afterwards of these experiences, he decided to co-found an innovative start-up, driven by a deep entrepreneurial
spirit and the desire to get involved.
Giorgio Pastarini
#Investment Analyst
Passionate about finance and graduated in 2020, he has already contributed to the realization of 2 important M&A transactions for a deal value exceeding € 150 million with leading Private Equity funds.He has been an Investment Analyst in P101 since 2021, where he carries out the scouting of new realities, portfolio management and constant support to subsidiaries.
Giorgio was born in Milan in 1995. He graduated in Business and Market Economics (BS) and in Banking & Finance (MS) at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. During his academic career he had 2 study experiences abroad, respectively in Lisbon at Nova SBE and in Taipei, at National Taiwan University (NTU).
A year before graduating, he began working as an M&A analyst in a financial boutique, MIT.FIN Spa (Mittel Group), where he immediately began to gain confidence with all phases of the deals: market analysis, valuation, Information Memorandum and Business Plan. In 2
years, he develops transversal skills in various sectors: Rental, Service, Healthcare and Industrial, working both with primary Private Equity funds and with Club Deals.
Giovanni Mascanzoni
#Financial Controller
During his university career he developed a strong interest in the private capital market. He previously worked at Deloitte, up to cover the role of Supervisor Senior Auditor. From July 2021 in P101, where he is Financial Controller.
Born in the province of Varese in 1991, Giovanni attended the Carlo Cattaneo LIUC University, bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and master’s degree in Business Economics and Management (Banking, Markets and Corporate Finance), with a study experience in Germany at the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management. In 2016 he started working at Deloitte, function Audit & Assurance, involved in auditing projects, specializing himself in the asset management sector, and in consulting projects for leading credit and financial institutions,
both Italian and international.
Lucia Piazza
#ESG Analyst
Born in Vicenza, Lucia graduated in Economic and Social Sciences at Bocconi University in Milan. She worked as a research trainee in consumer markets at the European Commission and at Doxa S.p.A, where she conducted quantitative analyses. Passionate about sustainable development, she first collaborated with the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (Cmcc Foundation) and later pursued a masters in Sustainable Finance at ALTIS – Cattolica University. She joined P101 in April 2021 to conduct the ESG performance assessment of portfolio companies.
Simona Lo Bue
#Backoffice
Simona was born in Novara in 1991. She graduated in Legal Services for Business at the Faculty of Economics, of the University of Eastern Piedmont. She joined P101 in 2019, to deal with administrative and operational support in the exchange of flows with outsourcers and consultants, as a back office clerk.
Laura Conti
#Office Assistant
After having worked several years in the asset management industry, Laura joined P101 in 2014, when she started as an office assistant and PA to the partner. Nowadays, she manages office supplies, welcomes clients to the office and offers administrative support. A native of the province of Lodi, Laura studied at the University of Milan, where she studied pharmaceutical technologies.
Riccardo Monti

Riccardo Monti joined BCG in 1990 in the Paris office, then moved to Zurich and finally to Milan.
Prior to joining BCG he spent 4 years in the logistics department of a multinational chemical company.
In BCG Riccardo Monti has extensively worked in the Industrial and Energy sector and is a core member of the World Wide Industrial Goods Practice. In June 2005 he became responsible for BCG in Italy and from 2010 to 2013 for the IGT System (Italy, Greece, and Turkey).
Starting from January 2014 Riccardo Monti assumed the role of Chairman of BCG Italy.
Leone Pattofatto

Founder and Managing Partner of KALPS, a private equity club-deal origination vehicle. Founder and CEO of Quisque, an advisory boutique and investment holding.
Former responsible for running and developing the €35bn equity portfolio of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Italian national promotion institution, between 2013 and 2018.
Fabio Zecchini
#Operating Advisor
With a strong focus on technology, Fabio graduated in Computer Science Engineering with a dissertation on Robot Automation and Artificial Intelligence.
He has been working in multinational consultancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers within its Technology & Data Services Division. He decided to deep on Big Data space moving first to ShinyStat as their lead Product Marketing Manager.
Such experience on data science led him to then decide to finally join media agency worldwide leader Dentsu Aegis Network as Chief Data & Analytics Officer with the primary goal to create the (intra agency) European data scientists team.
In the end of 2012 he co-founded Musement - acquired by tour operating giant TUI Group in 2018 - where he’s now still involved as Chief Technology Officer.
Fabio is also an Advisor at IULM Innovation Lab & the Coordinator of the Digital Marketing Master at TAG Innovation School.
