ANDREA DI CAMILLO
Andrea has over 15 years of experience as a venture capital investor and entrepreneur. He has worked with Kiwi I, Cir Ventures, and Principia SGR, and invested in more than 40 companies – such as Yoox, Venere, Viamente – as well as being a founder of Vitaminic and Banzai. In 2013 he launched P101, of which he is Managing Partner.
Born in Biella in 1970, Andrea began his career at Olivetti, which he joined in 1995 as marketing manager of ItaliaOnline, a pioneer in the Italian digital market. Later, he took part in the launch of the first venture capital fund, Kiwi, with which he made some of the most successful investments in the digital sector, such as Venere, Yoox, and Tiscali. In 1999, he co-founded Vitaminic and then in 2006, Banzai, which soon became the second web company in Italy. Between 2010 and 2012 he managed the turnaround of Principia I and Principia II funds, allocating more than €40 million and redefining the SGR’s investment strategy. Andrea has made angel investments in several startups, including Cortilia, Iubenda, Fubles and Viamente, which was acquired by an US industrial group in 2012.
Giuseppe has been working in the Venture Capital and Private Equity industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining P101 in 2014, he has gained experience both in Italy and Europe, working with companies such as 3i Group plc and HSBC Bank. At P101 he serves as a Partner.
Giuseppe holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa and attended the Advanced Executive Program at the Kellogg Business School in Chicago (USA). He began his career in the Telecom Italia’s Strategy Division. In 2000 he joined SOFIPA SGR and then he moved to 3i Group plc as an Investment Manager. From 2006 to 2008 he served as Vice President at HSBC Bank in London, where among the other tasks he managed principal investments and leveraged finance activities in the European and Middle Eastern markets. After a work experience in UK with Neo Capital Private Equity, at the end of 2009 Giuseppe moved to Italy and joined Futurimpresa SGR as a Managing Director. Over his career he has been involved in several investments and divestments both in traditional and innovative sectors. As a Non-Executive Director, he has also contributed to value growth in portfolio companies.
With 10 years of experience in the venture capital and private equity sector, Glenda has grown professionally at Pino Partecipazioni and worked with dPixel and Vela Capital, taking part in 8 disinvestments and two IPOs. In P101 she is in charge of new investments and monitoring the portfolio companies.
Born in Pavia in 1980, Glenda has become interested in Venture Capital while attending the university and, in 2004, she joined Pino Partecipazioni, the investment adviser of the Kiwi I and Kiwi II funds. As a Senior Investment Officer she has managed the portfolio companies, taking part in 8 disinvestments and the IPOs of Elitel, Telecom and Yoox. In 2008 she began working with dPixel, where she was involved in the creation of a Luxembourg SICAR and entered the Board of the Management Company. Four years later she extended her expertise to private equity investments, joining Vela Capital. She has a degree in Finance from the Bocconi University of Milan.
After his studies between Milan, Prague and Rotterdam, Alessandro has oriented his career towards the venture capital sector, joining Pino Partecipazioni. He has worked with Neon as a Business Analyst. In P101 he is in charge of the deal flow and new investments.
Alessandro was born in Milan in 1985. Having spent a formative period in Rotterdam and Prague, he graduated in Business Administration, Finance and Control at the Bocconi University of Milan. In 2009 he began working with Pino Partecipazioni as Investment Analyst in charge of the deal flow activity, the monitoring and business planning for the portfolio companies. He has been involved in some Kiwi fund’s disinvestments and seed investments in companies such as Fubles and RisparmioSuper. Between 2012 and 2013 he also worked with Neon Club, where he improved his know-how on managing the investments in startups, supporting the implementation of their business plan and the activity of fundraising.
Interested to Business Financing issues, he obtained a master degree in Business Management and later a master in Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital. He started his professional career in the industry at Principia SGR. He has worked as a consultant in the field of club dealing and family offices. In P101, he contributes to the portfolio management and monitoring activities.
Mariano was born in Naples in 1985. He obtained with honors a master degree (Business Management) and a master (Entrepreneurship & VC) at the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. In 2012 he began working with Principia SGR as Investment Analyst in charge of the deal flow activity, the monitoring and perfomance measurement for the portfolio companies. He has been involved in some Principia II fund’s investments in companies such as 4W Marketplace and Sounday, and for this, the acquisition of Kiver Digital. In 2015 also worked with G&C, where he improved his know-how on club dealing and family offices management.

Carlo is now the founder and CEO of Soldo, a UK FinTech startup targeting the European financial market. Before that he participated in the development of companies in the mobile and social gaming market at Intent Ventures and founded Gioco Digitale that became the leader in regulated online gaming in Italy. At Lottomatica (now IGT) as head of new platforms development he defined the company online business strategies and launched the online instant lotteries in Italy. As founder of Matrix, he has contributed to building up the Italian Internet market, by launching Virgilio, the first web portal in Italy, and the advertising agency Active Advertising. Carlo has been involved in the development of Pagine Gialle Online, and he has managed the Internet Service Provider consumer and small business division within Telecom Italia, as well as participated in the launch of Fineco, the leading Italian online bank.

Cristiano has a solid career in the financial sector that began in 1986. He has worked for some leading companies in the Italian and international banking sector, from Banca Euromobiliare to Merrill Lynch Private Banking (now part of Bank of America) and Banca Esperia. He is a technology enthusiast and in 2007 he started making seed investments in digital startups, both as angel investor and on behalf of his clients. In 2012, he cofounded SiamoSoci, a platform that connects private investors to new, innovative startups. A year later, he launched Club Italia Investimenti 2, a fund that supports the Italian major business accelerators in financing startups in the earliest stages of their lives and in helping them to adopt an efficient business model.
With more than 20 years’ international experience in general management, business strategy and marketing, Luca has held various top positions in leading consumer goods, retail and travel companies, most recently as MSC Cruises worldwide Chief Marketing officer. At P101 he serves as a Venture Partner.
